RouteIQ Pro will never sell, rent, or share your data or your students' transportation data with third parties for commercial purposes. Student stop location data is sensitive — we treat it that way.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have regarding your information when you use the RouteIQ Pro Service.

Each service provider is contractually required to use shared data only for the specified purpose and to protect it appropriately.
We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order. Where legally permissible, we will notify you before disclosing your information and cooperate with your efforts to limit the disclosure.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all assets, subscriber data may be transferred. We will provide notice and ensure the acquiring entity is bound by obligations at least as protective as this Privacy Policy.
We implement multiple layers of security to protect your information:
No security system is 100% impenetrable. In the event of a data breach involving your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law and as described in our Data Privacy Agreement.

You may access and update your account information at any time through the RouteIQ Pro admin dashboard. You may also contact us at support@routeiqpro.cc to request corrections to your information.
You may download a complete copy of your organizational data at any time using the platform's built-in backup and export features.
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at support@routeiqpro.cc. We will permanently delete your data within thirty (30) days of receiving a verifiable deletion request, subject to our legal data retention obligations.
If you are a California resident or represent a California school district, you have the right to: (a) know what personal information we collect and how it is used; (b) request deletion of your personal information; (c) opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information); and (d) non-discrimination for exercising your rights. RouteIQ Pro acknowledges that student bus stop location data may constitute or be related to "education records" under FERPA. We operate as a "school official" with a legitimate educational interest as defined under FERPA's implementing regulations (34 C.F.R. § 99.31(a)(1)).

The RouteIQ Pro platform is designed for use by school administrators and transportation staff — not directly by students. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. The platform stores bus stop location data (addresses) which may be associated with student transportation, but we do not collect student names, dates of birth, or other personal information that would identify individual minors.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at support@routeiqpro.cc.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will provide at least thirty (30) days notice of material changes via email to the registered account address. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
